When you notice a foil pouch beginning to appear in the wax, STOP BURNING and use a tool (tweezers work great) to carefully remove it before it sinks too deep or becomes damaged by heat. The code inside is protected, but not fireproof. If it’s scorched, it’s void, and no one wants that.

Always burn on a heat-safe surface, within sight, and away from drafts, pets, and curtains. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Trim wick to ¼ inch before each use. Do not leave the foil pouch inside the wax once visible.
